[libreoffice-design] Re: Migrating from Mail Listing to Forum

I understand the convenience of receiving all stuff from mail without checking any site.
But still thinks that a forum gives much more freedom and flexibility for this type of subjects. 
The email notification features of the forums are more a commodity than an attempt to fix a lack of 
functionality. Yes people would have to visit a site and manage one account but the advantages are 
there as well. 


We can choose which threads/conversations to follow, quickly list all the threads we replied, stick 
treads to the top for important topics, easily create polls, attach images, powerful format options 
including "multi-quotes" just clicking on a button etc etc.


Just my opinion. I admit i´m not used to mailing-lists but i think that the advantages of a forum 
compensate for the inconvenience of managing a new account.
