sorry, I forget that the not-yet-disabled don't know that windows 7 +8 are the only platforms with good enough speech recognition (i.e. naturally speaking). in this case, Windows 7

Gnu & Linux is usually highly configurable so it might be possible to
set-up some script to do the auto-saving but that is more likely to
need the skills of the devs.  I think they have an "i r c " channel or
something?  Would that be useful or painful?  There are probably other
ways to contact them.

I wish Stuart was around!  He was brilliant with these issues!  There
are other people here that might well be able to help too.
