This sounds quite serious. I am a member of QA and I would urge you to
report a bug and CC me on it. http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport

Please attach the document(s) that are crashing for you, and provide easy
steps to reproduce (if applicable).

Thanks for taking the initiative to bring up this problem - if we can
reproduce this and we have a bug that is detroying odg files, it would be
very serious.
