Hi László,

30.9.2022 12:41 hodź. Németh László napisa:
Ah, wonderful. I translated some commands in thought :-) and entered
them in the LibreLogo window but I got the error message that the
command is unknown although I set Upper Sorbian in Tools -> Options ->
Languages -> Western.

Indeed, it didn't work! Thanks for your bug report, I was able to fix the
problem:

https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/140796

"LibreLogo: fix ast, gug, hsb and sid language support

Thank you very much for opening the bug report and fixing this bug.

Asturian (ast), Paraguayan Guaraní (gug), Sidamo (sid) and Upper-Sorbian
(hsb) localizations did't work despite their existing localization stored
in the language fallback dictionary of LibreLogo.py, because their 3-letter
language identifiers with their country codes trimmed to 2-letter, for
example: "hsb-DE" -> "hs" instead of the correct "hsb".

Yes, probably there was an access to language code standard iso 639-1. In this standard only two-letter codes exist so there are no codes for Sorbian lanugages in it. In iso 639-2, there is the three-letter code wen for both Sorbian languages (abbreviation for historical name Wendish).

Not until iso 639-3 both codes hsb and dsb exist. A country code is not needed because Sorbian languages are spoken in Germany only, although descendants of Sorbian emigrants learn Sorbian again now, e. g. Sorbian descendants at Serbin in Texas/USA. But they don't speak any special variant.

Missing Upper-Sorbian support was reported by Michael Wolf."

I'll back-port the fix into LibreOffice 7.4 and before. Also I'll add
Lower-Sorbian and other translations to the "language fallback" dictionary
of LibreLogo.py soon.

I installed the today's daily and, lo and behold, :-) Upper Sorbian works now! Lower Sorbian not yet.

Ah, please note: In another thread of this mailing list I asked to enable both Sorbian languages for LO 7.5 online Help. Sophi told me that Olivier will do that on Monday. I write this to avoid possible duplication of work.

Thank you very much once more,

kind regards

Michael
