Yah I really don't u.understand the scope, and what's in/out of scope.
When I wrote the whiteboards that I did, I just wrote what I thought the
scope was and hopes if it was wrong that someone will correct it. I'll ask
the team about it next time. But till then could you describe it.

As I understand it, under Kendy's proposal, the status bar would still be
available under "View" but just hidden by default. Therefore, a reordering
of the status bar still makes sense as a separate idea, but just shouldn't
be our top priority.

Or do we want to dispense with the current status bar entirely? Perhaps
replace it with something more contextual, like Chrome and Firefox have
done?

I can't stand Chrome's contextual status bar. If your talking about how web
addresses and stuff just appear at the bottom when you hover over linkes.
