Hi :)
Are there potential copyright issues with using their stuff?  Any idea what licensing they use?
It's possible they might use a fairly permissive license but it might be good to know if we are
walking into a trap with this.
Regards from
Tom :)

I agree with that, but some locales got their users used to localised
function names.
MS Office function names are not localized for croatian, nor we localise
it.
It's hard to find function examples and descriptions online if you use
localised names and it's even harder for those transfering from MS
office to LO.

Some languages have translations for MS functions, that's the case for mine
and I can't change because our users are used to them. I use a link to
decide or check for the names, there is 16 languages listed:
http://wwwhome.ewi.utwente.nl/~trieschn/excel/excel.html
Maybe that can help those of you who need to translate them.

Microsoft Language Portal (http://www.microsoft.com/Language/) is the
most authoritative source in my opinion.

Best regards,
Andras
