Alex, I think you've got the right answer. As it happens, ibiblio was the default download method 
chosen when I clicked, "Download," from the main download page, likely having to do with it being 
*maybe* 10 km from where I'm sitting (Durham, N.C., USA). Clarkson, in the same time zone but up in 
Potsdam, N.Y., USA, is orders of magnitude (literally) farther away.

Maybe ibiblio just has more traffic and, thus, is slower? Not sure, nor am I sure if there's any 
way to change the algorithm for the default download location that gets fed to the Download link. 
Figured I'd let folks know, and then decisions can be made on whether to address it. I just imagine 
that more-naïve users might get discouraged from using LibreOffice if they don't know to look for 
other mirrors under the, "Info," link that's part of the Download button.
