Someone from TDF will be keynoting at Flourish 2011 in Chicago, from April

There will be only one person flying over from Europe, but I think that is
going to be a very good opportunity for meeting the US community.

I will be keynoting on Sunday April 3 at 11AM. I will arrive in Chicago on Thursday March 31 in the late afternoon, and leave on Sunday in the afternoon.

I'll make it a point to gather more info @ SCALE. I see you'll be downtown.
By "activities" I'm guessing you mean networking opportunities? I'll make it
a point to get more info this weekend @ SCALE. How many days will they be in
the area?

I have asked the organizers to have a 2 hours workshop on Saturday to discuss how to organize the US community. Of course, if someone from the US community is there. Otherwise, it does not make any sense.

We also have the opportunity of having an expo table for the duration of the event (Friday late afternoon to Sunday). We could also have only the expo table, but - again - if the US community is there. I am happy to support the US community, but I am not the US community.

Please let me know how we can leverage this opportunity for the success of LibreOffice in the US.

Ciao, Italo
