HI !

When java is enabled Libreoffice as a annoying lag at
start up. When java is disabled that lag disappears but a
window warning that says that java is disabled appears; this
is less annoying but still annoying.  Did anyone know
how to disable this warning about java disabled?

Thanks!!

So Opensuse 11.3 x86_64

Hi, under Ubuntu 10.10 (but not under Windows or Mac) the
problem comes with the version of Java : I replaced the
1.6.0.24 with the 1.6.0.21 Java version and the lag
disappeared. So, I suggest to you to try to "downgrade" the
version of Java instead of desactivate it.
I found this for more information :

Hi & thanks for your help!!

I Just update to Opensuse 11.3 to 11.4 and the lag problem has gone. Under Opensuse11.3 tried
different versions of java including openjdk but the lag was still there. For Opensuse11.4,
java-1_6_0-sun-1.6.0.u24 or OpenJDK-1.6.0.0_b20 this problem was solved.

Thanks !!
