Thanks for this note about the way you see the distro. This is surely the way that we must adopt. We should let MSO and others follow our distro rather than thinking we are trying to match up to theirs. It's one thing to adopt interoperability of file formats but quite another to adopt a healthy attitude that your distro is the right choice and that it is independent enough to stand on its own merits.

A very healthy attitude to hold.
