Very very few, I guess ;-)
But imagine some deployment have an old DB of that type running on a
server. Could well be, isn't it?

In that case they could as well keep using an old version of StarOffice ;)

More seriously, I have a bit more data about adabas usage:

- Many users on the old OpenOffice.org forums were confused about it and
couldn't understand why the option was available if they needed to download
software from a third party.
The only software compatibility they were interested in was with Microsoft
Access.

- SAP AG used Adabas for its own database product but the company is now
moving to a MySQL basis

- Some VoIP companies also used Adabas internally; they're phasing it out
in favor of PostgreSQL

I think the picture is clear enough; I'll have a word on the developers list
and try to disable the Adabas D driver.
