Hi :)
Perhaps increase the memory settings in
Tools - Options - Memory

Crashes used to be associated with java usage most of the time. Can
you try switching java off?
Tools - Options - Java/Advanced

and untick the tick-box at the top so that a "Java runtime
Environment" is not being used in LibreOffice. If you ever get an
error message asking for you to use java in LibreOffice then it should
be reasonably easy to tick the box again. Hardly anything needs java
now. It's only Base now and only then if it's using the internal
back-end.

Regards from
Tom :)

Hi, how can i get libre office writer to work with "docx" file formats
that contain OLE Objects with video or music. Mi profesora siempre me da
file word documents that contain OLE objects and when I click on them they
don't work and Libre office just freezes and crashes. How can I get them
to work and I have installed the libre office java plugin in synaptic.

Sounds like a bug - can you provide a link to a test document?

Best,
Joel
