Es ist unsinnig, Lizenztexte in quasi-binär-Dateien zu packen.
Daß das dictionary oder auch die Silbentrennungsdatei ein
menschen-lesbares Dateiformat ist, ist ja mehr oder weniger
"Glückssache".
Gibts die Aufforderung der FSF irgendwo öffentlich?
Ich habe die Aufforderung als extension owner per E-Mail erhalten vom
project owner Jason Self. Hintergrund dürfte sein, dass die
entsprechenden Readme-Dateien in Extensions häufig nicht auf dem
aktuellen Stand sind oder auch ganz verloren gegangen sind. Als
Bestandteil des source files kann das nicht mehr passieren. Sei's drum.
