Looking for beginner friendly issues

Hello everyone
I'm a Computer Science undergrad in my sophomore year. I'm an active user
of Libre Office for past 3 months. I really wanted to get started with Open
Source contributions. So, I thought, why not the product I use the most.
And that's why, I'm here.

I'm proficient in C, C++ and familiar with Git, Linux. Since I don't have
any prior experience with open source contribution, I would really
appreciate if someone could guide me on the same. Any kind of help would be
greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and consideration

Also, I would like to mention the proficiency level of my C++ skills. I
have recently qualified in Qualification round of Google HashCode 2020,
Google KickStart Round-A 2020 and Google CodeJam Qualification Round 2020.

HI Chinmay Manas

Happy to see you are interested in LibreOffice. From the profile you
wrote I guess you are interested in development of LibreOffice, right?

If affirmative, you may want to join the development team and get
familiar with the way LibreOffice is improved. The dev team already has
a set of easy hack for people like you to start working on LibreOffice
development, which is done in C++, C and git.

Believe me, dealing with LibreOffice codebase speeds up development
skills maturity, which is good for any resumé.

So please have a look at the following wiki pages :
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/GetInvolved

On a side note, the list here is for documentation development (Help,
books, tutorials...)

Kind regards
Olivier
