Well, I'm not surprised by this - as it is just the hierarchy -
features is topmost, writer is subpage, got to features again → you
get to a different page obviously.

When on the Writer page, the "Features" menu is in mode "section" -
i.e. you're within a subpage of Feature, and Writer is "current" -
i.e. it is the current page.
When on Features, "Features" is current, and Writer (and all the
others are of type "link".

Currently the theme doesn't make a distinction between current and
section, and honestly I hardly see this as a major issue, as it is
clearly a different level. If the Features link and Writer link would
be in the same row, then I'd fully agree, but people should be used to
hierarchical navigation, shouldn't they?

Sorry to bother you, but I consider this pretty important, since I
really want to avoid that this is replicated by all the l10n pages ...

Well - would a different visual representation for "section" solve the
issue for you?

Just activating a "first subentry" automatically is a nogo IMHO, but
not sure whether you actually regard this as the desired solution.

I mean your input is always welcome, but in the end I always keep
asking myself: "Well, ok, current situation is not prefect, but what
does he actually want as replacement?" :-)

ciao
Christian
