Board decision on Advisory Board

Hello,

The Board of Directors at the time of voting consists of 7 seat holders without deputies. In order to be quorate, the vote needs to have 1/2 of the Board of Directors members, which gives 4.

A total of 7 Board of Directors members have participated in the vote. The vote is quorate.

A quorum could be reached with a simple majority of 4 votes.

Result of vote: 6 approvals, 1 neutral, 0 disapprovals.
Decision: The request has been accepted.

I will update the AB page to reflect that soon.

The Document Foundation introduces a sponsor program, that enables
companies to support TDF's mission and ongoing expenses. There are
four sponsorship levels. For guidance, the rightmost column has a
suggested minimum annual donation amount based on company size (if
     applicable):

         20.000 USD --
10.000 USD -- companies with 1000 employees or more
5.000 USD -- companies with less than 1000 employees
2.000 USD -- companies with less than 50 employees

Current members of the advisory board are immediately becoming
sponsors based on the last donation. Sponsors will be listed on
the TDF or LibreOffice webpage. Along with the introduction of the
sponsorship, access to the advisory board is based solely on the
decision of the Board of Directors of The Document Foundation,
which will aim to be consistent in its admission. The composition
of the current advisory board should continue to be shown on TDF
     or LibreOffice webpages.

To conform with the "consistent in admission" point, the following
guidelines should be put e.g. on the TDF wiki as a start:

     Advisory board admission guideline:
Admission to the Advisory Board is at the sole discretion of the
board, with strong preference to sponsors going beyond the minimal
annual donation and taking into account certified LibreOffice
developers among the employees. Sponsorship of the LibreOffice
conference might be taken into account in the year of joining the
     advisory board too.

As for presenting the advisory board on the website in the future,
it is suggested to do that in two sections:

     * members (this lists members that are also sponsors and members
that are either NGOs or gain temporary free admission for
       ongoing contributions)
     * advisory board alumni (this lists former sponsors, that have
       dropped out)
