NL sites localization

Hi all,

So thanks to the big great work of Christian, NL sites are now almost
ready to be localized. I'll write a how-to today on the wiki, but here
are some info:

- the changing strings are ready to be translated and the sites
populated with a copy of the main one
- the template strings are not yet in Pootle, Christian will work on the
extraction/import this week and will update Pootle. We will keep you
update on this
- you can begin to work on your language site however
- you login with the same login you used by the past to
https://www.libreoffice.org/admin and from here switch to your subsite.
- editors have also publishers rights

I'll work today on the how-to and will add screenshots to make it
easier. If you feel you don't need it, just go on  the site will not
be visible for the moment, so don't be too afraid, Christian will switch
it on when finalized.

Cheers
Sophie

IMHO it's a good time to make a users cleanup based on each one activity.

Hi all,

So most of the writing is done, I'll only add some details and correct
my typos now

don't hesitate to add what you see missing or ask me to do so.

Can a nl team replace the TDF twitter and blog snippet with its own
twitter and blog account (to really make it nl)? The old site did not
allow that.

Hi everyone,

How can I preview unpublished page in new SS interface? Is it even
possible to see untranslated NL page now? I'd like to see how text is
aligned and shown in this new template.

By the way, should we use https://XX.libreoffice.org/admin (for
example) or https://WWW.libreoffice.org/admin? (I'm using now www
version).

Best regards,
Pawel

Hi Pawel,

You'll find all the information here:

it's https://www.libreoffice.org/admin, then select your language in the
list.

Hi,

I am asking this again, as I do not get an affirmative answer (I
posted a bug in bugzilla a year ago, but no response whatsoever).

Is adding feeds/blogs from l10n projects instead of TDF/LO-English
ones supported? I do not want to have a fully localized website with
English tweets and blog excerpts, if I have Slovenian ones published
on our twitter/blog accountss ...

Another thing - the font used for titles on the new site is not fully
UTF-8 compliant, as can be seen in the display of letter "č" (used in
latin Slavic languages). Please change the font (or fix it).

Then we can talk business

Thanks, m.

What about if you just had a look instead of asking?

Yes, you can add your own rss feeds. There's a rss-feed-list control
where you can add registered feeds, and other controls where you pick
one of those feeds to be displayed on the homepage.

Another thing - the font used for titles on the new site is not fully
UTF-8 compliant, as can be seen in the display of letter "č" (used in

This is design topic, but well.
Need to look wether the font is available with extended coverage.

ciao
Christian
