Hi :) I think it is and always has been the default behaviour of all spreadsheets on all OSes. It's never occurred to me that it is oddly cumbersome. I suspect Mike just didn't notice because it's such a normal thing to have happen. In the bug-report someone suggested a Cut Special just as there is a Paste Special and to use the shift key for that one too. I think that could be a brilliant idea. I just wonder why no-one else seems to have thought of this or why the idea might have been rejected if it ever was put forwards Regards from Tom :)
