Hi all

First of all I find it odd that this release is named RC1. Shouldn't there
be a Beta first?

I found the following bugs in the Windows installer:

1) Forces installation of MS VC++ 2008 x86 9.0.30729.4148 although MS VC++
2008 x86 9.0.30729.6161 was already installed

2) New dictionaries are selected to install (this time Kurdish, Nepali,
Occitan and Romanian). Isn't there a way for it to remember just the ones
previously selected and ignore all new?

3) Portuguese dictionary isn't included (but the Language Pack is). The
dictionary for Brazilian Portuguese should be renamed to Portuguese (Brasil)
just like e.g. German (Germany)

4) The "Create a start link on desktop" option is always selected although I
unselect it every time. This is the only installer option that isn't saved
from one install to the next.

HTH
