I set up a local MediaWiki instance to develop the Calc function name module
and now Guilhem kindly enabled the extension in TDF wiki.

Nice initiative, thanks!

As the first tries, I changed these pages:
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/Calc_Functions/List_of_Functions
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/Calc_Functions/ABS

I think it would be good if the translated pages also mentioned the
original English function name.
Yes, it is in the URL like
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/Calc_Functions/ABS/it
but..

As mentioned, when you see outdated translations in your language for the
ABS article, just confirm them, no need to copy the module syntax.

What happens if after a page was translated the translation of the
function name changes? Will there be some automatic update/refresh?

Well, you have a point there, even though I don't think it is that big of a deal in this case. If doing the confirmations of outdated content and ignoring the module syntax, the automatic update in such cases would be missing. We don't have many languages at the moment, however, and not all of the function articles are available for translation yet.
