Hello,

I have an Impress presentation containing several screenshot images (1024x768 PNG images).
I want to export it to a PDF, which will mostly be read on-screen (not printed).

I've tried many combination of PDF export options and image resolutions, and no matter what I try,
the image quality in the PDF is noticeably low (looks like poor-quality rescaling, especially with
text/letters).

I've tried JPEG and Loseless, Reduction to 75,300,900,1200 DPI and no reduction at all - nothing
helps.
I've tried screenshots both with and without LCD-subpixel rendering.
I've tried upsampling & downsampling the image in GIMP before importing it to Impress, and still no
go.

I'm using LibreOffice 3.3 on Debian,
but the same PDF results happen in OpenOffice 3.2.1 and OpenOffice 2.

Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
 -gordon
