The only time I get duplicate messages is when a sender hits "reply all" in the email box, as I have done here. This list requires that behavior in order to send a reply to the list rather than only the original sender.

So, you should get two copies of this email. However, I've never had to wait 2-3 days for the second copy. It usually comes within minutes of the first message.
