目黒と申します。

オープンオフィスで作成した文書（拡張子odt,ods,odp,odg,odb...）は、
もちろんLibreOfficeでも問題なく取り扱うことが出来ます。

これは、作成された文書がオープンドキュメント形式（OpenDocumentFormat）と呼ばれる、
ISOやJISなどで標準として規定された形式であることが理由です。
（LibreOfficeがOpenOffice.orgから枝分かれした兄弟分的なソフトだからという面も多少ありますが...）

国際標準ですので、MSoffice2007以降でも開くことが出来ます。
最近自治体での導入事例が多いのは、特定製品に肩入れする形にならないという点が実は大きかったりします。

といった訳で、安心してLibreOfficeを導入して頂ければと思います。
