[libreoffice-users] Calc - Find and Replace options

Using Calc Find and Replace [cntl-H], I use the options Direction 
"Columns" and Search in "Values". I keep the Find and Replace window open.

Often, after editing the spreadsheet, but not always, the Find and 
Replace window reverts to the default Direction "Rows" and Search in 
"Formulae".  I can't deduce why it does this.

Why does it do this?

Can I stop it reverting to the default?
