I was talking to an IT and an Exec. Director for a nursing facility in New York State.

Over 70% of their 200+ bed facility have Medicaid paying the bills. I found out that they are being paid based on 1983 rates and the law that was passed a few years ago to bring up the rates to 2006 costs was revoked by the NY Governor's executive order to reduce the budget and to force the closure of as many of these facilities as possible. I guess he does not know of anyone who has a uninsured family member in a nursing facility since they cannot safely live outside a facility.

So the Medical field is a potential place to get the word out of the FREE MSO alternative. They already are hurting for their budgets, and now it seems to be getting worse, like NYS, who gets less than 28 cents on the dollar and will get even less if the NY Governor gets his way.

My wife lives in one with Alzheimer's and I was told by the "government" nurse that I could not take care of my self properly, let alone her. So the NYS governor wants her to be forced to leave a nursing facility and have some other agency to pay for her care in a different skilled nursing environment in some other state or force people in her condition to not live in a safe environment for themselves or their care givers. What a great way to care for the elderly, the mentally impaired, or the chronically and/or terminally ill.
