When I first configured ownCloud, the 'Common' folder[1] was set up to
serve as a single shared folder for all of our LibreOffice content:

I stubbed-in folders for various teams like QA, Website, Marketing,
and Documentation, and figured that was enough of a nudge to get
people to keep things somewhat organized so that ownCloud wouldn't end
up unusable[2]. There's a little fancy technical stuff going on behind
the scenes[3], but the Common space is basically just a single folder
shared with all of the users on ownCloud.

I'm not sure about the other marketing folder. Did you set one up in
your account?
