Hi :)
In Xp you would click on the "Start" button, then "All Programs" - LibreOffice and then right-click on Writer
and choose "create short-cut" or
"Send to" - "Desktop (create short-cut)"
and then do the same for Calc

/snip/

I have succeeded in doing that for OpenOffice in XP, where I happen to be lurking at the moment. Now to see if Win7 works the same.--doug

I'm not sure about the menus in Win7 but i think they are fairly similar aren't they (well, once past the
"All programs" bit)?

Using version 3.4, just installed on Windows 7. Is there any way to separate the apps and make
icons for just Writer and Spreadsheet?
(They're the only apps from LO I ever use.) It's a pain to have to open the whole thing and then
select one.
