I have several "sidebars" in a LibreWriter document I'm working on. In the
normal body text, I have many footnotes, and that all seems to work fine.

But if I attempt to add a footnote to any text in a frame, it simply doesn't
work. I tried replacing the frame with a table, but footnotes apparently
can't be added there either.

Because I have quite a few documents previously created in Word in which I
had done this, I imported one of them to see what LibreWriter would do.
Interestingly enough, although the footnote references (the superscript
numbers) had disappeared from inside the frames, and the footnote text
itself didn't appear, the other footnotes from the regular text weren't
renumbered. So Libre apparently apparently has the "missing" footnotes
stashed somewhere.

I searched the bug list for anything like this, but came up empty. I'm not
sure whether this is a bug, or something that isn't supported, or if I'm
missing something basic. Does anyone have any insight? Thanks.
