unsubscribe

can you explain to me, why I got 85 mails today from your organisation? It is incredible!

You chose to subscribe to a new organisation that is has fast-paced development
as it's number 1 objective right now. These are exciting times and a chance to
be a significant part of the future of a huge project.

To try to unsubscribe from the documentation list please send an email to
documentation+unsubscribe@documentfoundation.org

However it sounds as though you may have signed up to and confirmed the
subscription to a number of other mailing lists at TDF and they will need
separate unsubscribe notices. I think they all follow the same format of
address though.

Thanks for joining and offering help with the project. If we had been a lot
smaller and slower then we would have needed your input a lot more.
Many thanks and regards from
Tom Davies

Apparently, when you subscribed to the various lists you were unprepared for the volume of message traffic you would receive, and that's unfortunate. But to stop receiving the e-mails, you will have to retrace the same path you used in subscribing, this time using the word unsubscribe instead of the word subscribe. That is, you will need to unsubscribe any list you are currently receiving. The general format is listname+unsubscribe@libreoffice.org, where listname is, for example, documentation. This will need to be done from the same address used when you subscribed. If you still have the original subscription requests in your Sent folder (or the equivalent), that would be a good place to start.
