Drew, how is the DVD insert pamphlet coming along?

I am hoping to start handing the DVD out to some local IT departments and some local business people I know. On May 16th, I will be in a meeting with the local transit company and their rider's committee. This would be a great time to give out a few of them. We are meeting in the main branch of the library system for the county, so that would be a nice time to deal with those people as well. I could hand out up to 10 DVDs on that day.

So it would be nice to have our own insert pamphlet, instead of just using the tri-fold brochure with some NA additions.

In the next few months there will be a lot of community events that would be a nice place to advertise the LibreOffice "cause". Actually I still want to use the DVD as part of a fund raiser for a local not-for-profit charitable group. Any profit after the expenses are covered would go to that group and then they use that money to help out local community needs, like the animal shelter and food bank. Selling it for $10 would give this group a good percentage from each DVD sale, and promote LibreOffice at the same time.

SO I hope we will have everything we will need for our DVD[s] by then. There are too many places locally that could use a break from having to keep buying copies of MSO. Actually, there are some 10 to 20 different language groups that use various community "help centers" around this area. Maybe having one package that would support all those language would be something that those facilities, that offer computer use to those people that they serve, could use or pass on. It is a shot, but it may hit the mark[et].
