Greetings,
LO 3.5.3.2 on Linux.

I am trying to edit a Jpeg picture in Draw by drawing objects on top of the picture. However, I am having a problem selecting my objects. Draw keeps selecting the larger underlaying picture instead of the object I want it to select. I tried to select an area, but as soon as I make the first click at the first corner, it selects the underlying picture. I tried protecting the underlying picture using the procedure in help. That keeps the picture from being modified, but it still gets selected. I "Sent it to Back", but that does not work either. Is there a way to keep a draw object from being selected or to select overlying objects only?
Thanks.
Girvin Herr
