Hi David,

And then I was reading Stefan Siegel in a thread on the docs list, and
it sounds like he has rather different ideas about at least some of
the content on the libreoffice.org website.

Well, it´s just my opinion. I do respect any other opinion.

My statement, you are referring to, is not new. It´s part of my
answer to your request from Dec 17.

So, let me ask you the first question:

a) Do I have broad consensus of permission from you for this January
10 handover?

Yes from me. But you have been asking for feedback already on Dec 17.

My statement on the documentation list, you are referring to, was
initiated by your proposal to delete a wiki page, that I would
propose not to delete.

b) Are you happy with the content I've developed (and am still
continuing to develop)? Or am I going in a wrong direction?

I am happy with it. And I am grateful, that you are doing this,
otherwise we probably still wouldn´t have a even halfway presentable
website yet.

However, I have some points about the content, as mentioned:

http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/www/documentation/msg00762.html

c) Do I really have a green light from the SC for this theme [1] [2]?
It's a heck of a lot of work and, if I do it, I want to be *sure* that
it is going to be used for the libreoffice.org site. So do I have a go
or a no-go?

Please do give me clear explicit answers from you all. TIA. ;-)

Are you asking the members of the SC only or does "you all" mean
every reader on any list you are crossposting to? ;-)

If I am asked: I think Nikashs proposal looks better, than what we
have now.

Stefan
