Another question: I want to localize from the English (official) version of the
site. Where can I find the pages to translate?
I logged in the admin backend of the site but now I cannot find inside it the
pages to translate? Is it possible to access to the English site and download
its pages and structure and after upload them in the Italian one?

Some time ago we decided to refrain from directly translating the pages from the main site because of various reasons. You will have to rebuild the pages - when you hit create page in the left panel you see a dropdown which offers you a variety of page types you can use, e.g. Download or Donation pages etc., for most of the site just Page will do.

For we do not use static pages there's no way to 'download' them directly, you can copy the contents, translate it and paste it into your freshly created pages. The editor has a few buttons for plain or formatted text to paste and a html editor too. The homepage should have the URL ../home (Metadata) otherwise you'd have to specify the domain, it does not matter how you name the page.

Check out Help for the first steps on creating pages in Silverstripe. Please create an italian folder for your uploads e.g. pics etc. (Files & Pics) to avoid mixups.

To check out the international pages you may login now at
https://www.libreoffice.org/admin/
in case you switch directly to your subsite (on top of the page) make sure to select the right language too in the left panel before you start.

ciao
Erich
