Woran ich jetzt noch am Anfang hänge ist: distinct -> "The Foundation,
in terms of an entity, should be considered to be distinct from the
software development projects and the promotional activities that it
supports, steers and sustains."
Ist "distinct" hier gemeint im Sinne von "different"
ja
oder von
"independent"? Meine Lesart wäre "verschieden", nicht "unabhängig".
"Verschieden" wäre aber wieder so ein wischiwaschi-Begriff; evtl. könnte
man da besser schreiben: "... ist nicht gleichzusetzen mit den
...projekten ..."
Genau so sollte es sinnvollerweise übersetzt werden :)
