Hi Tom,
I would stick with the 3.4 until 3.5.1 is released.  There seems to have been a few problems with 
the 3.5.0 release this week.  On the other hand to make sure the problem gets fixed it might be 
worth posting a bug-report about it!

Thanks for the notice. Yesterday I upgraded my Linux install, which went fine. I'll keep an eye on 3.5.1. and if the problem still is there with that I'll file a bugreport.
