I know that Windows 8 just came out, and a lot of people are waiting for their new Win8 systems to be delivered. The real question is "has anyone tried LibreOffice on a Win8 machine?"

With their new touch-optimized OS, and all of their changes to the way you use and access the apps on it, I was wondering how LibreOffice is "running" on this "radically" new environment.

I was reading a set of articles about Windows 8 and the pros and cons of upgrading your current OS to it. There was "talk" on how some software had to be changed to deal with the "formally known as Metro" environment. There were many different opinions about what was going to be needed to be done to make current packages work "properly" with the new environment.

So, has anyone out there tried Windows 8 and LO with it? Desktop version and touch screen laptop-style system?
