Hi,

With the new machine it is faster :

W 7 64 bits, 4 Go Ram (x 1) (Amazon "lost" my 2 Kingstons just before
arrival...), Core 2 Duo E 8400 and "Enable systray Quickstarter" ckecked : 8
seconds the first time, a little less than 2 seconds the second time.

Linux Mint 14 Xfce Nadia 64 bits*, same conditions, is a little faster.

I don't know how it will be with 8 Go. On the Asus Eee Pc1005 HA I will go
on waiting... Not a problem, I use it mainly in India where the life is
different, shanti shanti.

Thanks for the help.

Jacques

*I kept my old hard disk and I installed Nadia on it.
