Filed a new bug report 35631

If I turn off Auto save all seems ok, so a workaround as long as I
regularly manually save.

I have the feeling that there is something amiss in the autosave code as
bug 34805 relates to autosave not working at all.
But then why 35631 under linux and not on the mac and 34805 on both.
