activa. Dit proberen te vertalen in lekentermen lijkt me geen doen.

Engelse woord asset vertaald wordt met activum (het Latijnse enkelvoud van
activa, neem ik aan). Ik kende het woord niet, wel activa, en vraag me toch af
of bezit(ting) of waardepapier - de context suggereert dat het daarom gaat -
geen beter vertaling is.
Het gaat bij zo'n discussie natuurlijk ook om de vraag voor wie je vertaald,
voor de gewone man of voor een deskundige/accountant.
