Got any ideas on how to share a 4.2 GB ISO file without a central
hosting/FTP server? We have heard about Torrent, but the more options
the better. Actually, I would love to share the snapshot DVD of our
project with other members of the team, since there is more on the DVD
than what is referred to by the HTML pages.

Can You send me a torrent file of that ISO? Then I will add it to the
tdf tracker and grab it from your machine if provided there by a torrent
client. Be aware it needs as long as uploading ftp but will make it
available for as many machines as you like without killing a single
server.

Gruß/regards

Yes I would, but
[1] my account will not handle a 4 GB file,
[2] I cannot upload it to me domain server since it is over 1 GB in size.

Hi Friedric:

At this point, it looks like we'll take the following path:

1) Tim will FTP a working image to Drew's server
2) We'll either seed the file from that server via sshfs, or we'll drag it
to our workstations and seed from there. Either Drew or I will send you a
.torrent

Let's move this thread to marketing@us.libreoffice.org?
