Just an addition to the ISO information:
You can file the current state of the North America Community DVD
[soon to be called "LibreOffice Americas Community DVD" of something
like that].

The DVD demo web site I host of the work I am working on for the US
Marketing Team.

And the Wiki page[s] for this project.

Remember we want/need your comments on how easy it is to use the "DVD"
based upon the demo web site. [...]
I/we look forward to you comments and suggestions to make this DVD
project better.
Hi,

I haven't exactly followed the project lately as I was quite busy these
last two weeks.

One item that caught my attention is redistribution of the JRE. In the
DVD I produce for distribution here in Quebec Canada I opted not to
distribute the JRE because of the following clause in the license:

"(vi) you agree to defend and indemnify Oracle and its licensors from
and against any damages, costs, liabilities, settlement amounts and/or
expenses (including attorneys' fees) incurred in connection with any
claim, lawsuit or action by any third party that arises or results from
the use or distribution of any and all Programs and/or Software."

I hope this is taken into consideration before release.

This only highlights the urgency to remove the Java dependencies, IMVHO.

Cheers,

Fabian

Thanks. The original HTML files and the install files listed on the page came from the German language team.
http://devel.libreofficebox.org/die-aktuelle-version-libreoffice-3-3-0/
Since they were the ones that started the "European" DVD that our "Americas" project style is based upon, I hope they looked into that clause. Maybe there should be a clause on our DVD that is out statement that we do not hold any liability to the programs on the DVD or some nice and proper "business-like language".

Thanks for pointing this out.

Tim L.
