Hi Marc, *,

I suspect the removal of the photos from their original
locations may have caused this or if there was a recent change in the code
for the Photo-Shuffler.

As there were no changes to the code, removing the images is the
problem, as there is no way for photoshuffler to know what to point to
instead.

While it would be easy to have the shuffler ignore non-existing files,
that of course would only hide the problem.

Unfortunately, there does not seem to be anyway of
finding out on SilverStripe how/why/what caused the problem other than
either the code changed for PhotoShuffler or the image file/names changed or
were deleted. :-(

Filename change or moving files within silverstripe should not cause
any problem, as the files are stored by their ID, not by their
filename, etc. So as long as you don't bypass silverstripe's
assets-management, then the ID won't change → the shuffler will still
find it.
So the most likely case is that the files just have been deleted.

I am not sure if the nl donate site admins had their own photos on their
site or if they just used the same photos as the EN-international site.

Currently there are 165 unique files used by all the photoshufflers on
the site (can provide a list if needed). - almost all of them are in
assets/Uploads directly, so no structure was given to them
whatsoever...

I can go around and fix the empty photo tags that are causing these hiccups
BUT it would be better if the nl donate site admins did this on their own.
If I go around and fix the nl donate sites, the nl donate site admins will
who have not read this post/thread will most likely be upset. But on the
other hand, our donate nl sites will be working correctly.

Yeah, there are 204 entries in the shuffler pages that don't point to
a valid file, i.e. point to an asset-file-id that does no longer
exist.

To ease this, here's a list of affected pages/projects:

I listed the page-ID so you can use /admin/show/<pageID> to access the
page quickly, in case you cannot find the page in the sitetree.
