Hi all,

I try to give another status update.

There was an issue not to store the binary files (extensions / templates) inside the
Zope Database of Plone / Zope. I installed for this purpose the product
collective.psc.blobstorage, but this gives an error when I tried to upload / store a
binary file in the file system.

I asked for help on our developer list (about help for fixing an Python error) and
get help from Caolan yesterday. His patch solved the problem and now we are able to
store binaries inside the file system. This makes it posible and easy to check every
incomming file for virus infection immediately.

I need to create the different parts of the site (centers or what ever we will call
it) again with the new features.

Please make proposals for the naming of:

a) extension part of the site:

-- Extension Center

b) template part of the site:

-- Template Center

The URL will contain this naming (in lowercase connected with a hypen).

I'm curious about your ideas and opinion.

But don't be shy, because we had to set up our repository asap, because the OOo-Ext-
Repo seemed to pass away soon.

Regards,
Andreas
