Request for LGM Trip Funding

I would love to visit the Libre Graphics Meeting [1] this year, running from April 10-13. While I have submitted a talk proposal, I won’t know if it has been accepted until the 25th. If it is, LGM will pay for my travel expenses. If it isn’t, I would still like to go, to meet and talk to other FOSS designers (Dave Crossland, who volunteered to help us with Google Web Fonts integration, will be leading a workshop there), thus I would like to ask for travel funding. The flight should cost about 6500 CZK or 256 EUR.

Hi,

FYI: the board has just approved 300 ¤, more in the board minutes that will follow soon.

Hi guys,
It seems that the LGM will reimburse me for my travel expenses after all.
I’m “being welcome” [1], so I have no lodging expenses.
My only expenses are therefore food and transport, which I would appreciate to get partly reimbursed for, but it’s certainly not necessary. I’m just glad to attend the meeting.

I was looking for the travel refund decision, but couldn't find it. Did you previously ask for a refund and was it approved? If so, when? Probably we missed adding it to the decision database.

I'm asking because we moved to budget-driven spending, and now individual budget holders have to approve refunds, not the board per se.

Hi,

Right, sorry. I didn't know who the budget holder is.
In any case, my food and transport expenses were lower than I expected,
so no refund necessary.

thanks a lot for attending the meeting on behalf of TDF, much appreciated!
