I tried a different format to see if it would look good with a b/w

letter size just for testing purposes)

How does this look?
www.parentreprise.com/images/LibreOffice/Libo-challenge-detest.odt

Also some notes about the flyers in general:

1. proportional spacing should not be used as this causes too many
rivers in the text, text should be set at "flush-left"

Second person to say that - ok off

2. The treatment of "euro", "euros", "Euro", "Euros" -- it was pointed
out that the EU Community established the singular form as the monetary
designation. So whether singular or plural it should always read "euro"
or "Euro"

3. The treatment of numbers with decimal and thousand separators. There
seems to be a mixed bag with no real consensus on its treatment. We
should then go for the middle of the road approach and use a space for
the thousand separator and the decimal point (period) for numbers.
UNLESS you wish to do some up for N.America only, in this case the comma
thousand seperator with the decimal point.

huh - which do you want comma.. no problem. I figure copy 200 pages (100
hand outs) for Saturday and another Sunday.

4. the QR graphic is too large. It should be reduced to fit the height
of the last paragraph.

Alright - well I updated the en file - with the header you introduced
and changed the layout to something similar to the es file from earlier,
but with the new header accommodated, changed to left justification.

I think this is reading perhaps even better again. What do you think.

Updated both files on the wiki:
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/File:Libo-challenge-en.pdf
and the odt file of course.

So I suppose there is, what 2 items left from above - comma and euro is
that it. Also color paper is out - unless both that header and the logo
graphic are changed - the document icon part of the logo turns the color
of the paper, of course...

thanks

Cheers
