Hi Tom,
Thanks for the reply. I've inserted some answers to your questions as noted below.

I do back up my computer about once per week.

Someone mentioned you have to go to Page to access your file. I went to Page Preview and that
brought the file back in.

I didn't have any problems with LibreOffice before. I used Open Office before.

Luckily, I have been also making a spread sheet for this same file on Excel 2007, for income tax
purposes.

Thanks again.

Hi :)
Do you have any idea which folder you were saving the document in? My Documents

Have you ever emailed a copy to yourself or to someone else? No. Have you ever tried copying it
to another computer? No. Is there a copy on Usb-stick or Cd/Dvd somewhere. Do you print it and if
so where do you print it from, your own machine? Yes.
Do you know which operating system you are using? Windows? Mac, something else? Windows XP Pro,
SP3

With a bit of luck this guide
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/UserProfile
might help you work out where your old User Profile was and a back-ups folder should be in there.
Unfortunately the default setting is to not make a back-up but that might have been changed by
yourself or someone with any luck.

Regards from
Tom :)

Hi,

I had LibreOffice 3.5.4 installed on my computer. After I downloaded LibreOffice 3.5.5 (before
Installation) I couldn’t access my LibreOffice Calc (Which was a spreadsheet for my Medical &
Dental Expenses). It was just a blank spreadsheet.

I then Uninstalled LibreOffice 3.5.4 & then Installed LibreOffice 3.5.5 but again I couldn’t
access my LibreOffice Calc spreadsheet of my Medical & Dental expenses for 2012.

Any ideas what happened to my spreadsheet?
