Agenda
======
 * Point-in-Time Recovery (PiTR)
   + host handed over to Brett
   + vm221 (synapse) already hooked up but not running yet
   + vm222 (discourse) is a good candidate for the next service
   + vm191 (etherpad) should also be good to go
 * guilhem: want to switch from ifupdown to systemd-networkd and systemd-resolved
   at some point, so we can tie resolution under .tdf to the internal interface
   (routing domain) and use the usual upstream resolvers for other TLDs.
   + no urgency anyway, best to align that with the bullseye or bookworm release
   + maybe also switch to timer unit files at the same time
     . Brett: plus sides: exclusive locking for free, as well as random delays,
       hardening features etc
     . guilhem: they're not mutually exclusive, we can ship one or the other
       depending on the salt state
 * Planned reboots/downtime
   + delayed until 10.9 is released (March 27)
 * Mirrorbits (see rdm#3097 and minutes from last May's call)
   + mirrorbrain is aging but also has pressing problems, in particular the lack
     of mmdb compatibility
   + guilhem: will deploy an instance around the summer if no one else steps in
     meanwhile
   + cloph: can coexist with mirrorbrain during a test period
 * pending/in progress
   + mailing list import
   + AskBot migration (AI guilhem: get in touch with William)
   + firewall refactoring
   + node monitoring
 * cloph: piwik/matomo questions: Are on-the-fly segments disabled via configuration?
   + no option in UI to pick between preprocessed segments (cron) and on-the-fly
     ones for preprocessed segments: no updates for "completed" timeframes,
     would need to manually be triggered
   + guilhem: disabled for performance reason but can be retroatively added for
     up to 45 days back, will trigger the update for idsite=2
 * easyprivacy (used eg by ublock origin) block tracking request from Matomo,
   unclear how many visits are not counted at the moment
   + https://metrics.documentation.org/post (instead of https://piwik.documentation.org/piwik.php
or /matomo.php)
     and https://metrics.documentation.org/metrics.js (instead of
https://piwik.documentation.org/piwik.js or
     /matomo.js) can be used to evade blocking
   + guilhem: on my system uBlock origin blocks requests to piwik.tdf, the above
     is currently implemented on the blog so visits are recorded.
   + unclear how many visitors are concerned, need to compare metrics over a
     longer period period — will report during the next call
 * cloph: [rdm#3442] git branch rename from master → main for LO-repos (core,
   dictionaries, helpcontent, translations)
   + cloph: want to do that on April 1st already
   + cloph: the only question open is what to do with master, in particular people who submit
changes to master
   + guilhem: could use `git symbolic-ref`
     . cloph: unsure if gerrit/jgit supports that
   + roadmap: lock down master for submit/merges but keep open but automatically
     move changes to main
 * Next call: Tue, 20 Apr 2021 at 16:30 UTC (note the DST!)
