       If you (1) highlight the area you wish to copy,
         then (2) copy it;
         then (3) place your marker on the area, at the exact location, you
wish this new data to go,
         then (4) the formatting should be transferred to the newly pasted
data.

       Well that works for me;

regular copy paste seems to just copy the actual text, not the changes at
