Do you know how much a client feels belittled by misleading (overly 
complicated) answers?

I can't write one tutorial for each client. I just wanted to indicate 
that Michael doesn't have to deal with convoluted formulas when he 
adjusts himself to the mere basics of the given simple tool. For more 
convenience (and for untrained users) there are more sophisticated tools 
such as input forms bound to databases.

Something like INDEX(OFFSET(COUNTA)) is not reliable enough because it 
assumes no gaps. The second shaky assumtion is that the area below the 
assumed list is always completely blank.

The concept of a manual sort order where the editor of a list has to 
append/insert at particular positions is highly questionable. Any order 
of rows should be enforcable by a defined sort order. If the order of 
entry really matters, you've got to insert new data together with an 
automatic time stamp.
