Hi :)
This sounds weird.  Have you tried renaming your user-profile?  

Which OS are you using?  Win Xp?  Does the same thing happen with other programs or just Calc?  I 
guess it happens with Writer etc too but i meant can you check a couple of other programs, maybe 
Firefox or IE?
